Along with it being Thanksgiving, it is also my sister, Kate's birthday! She was actually born on Thanksgiving Day 28 years ago. After my mom worked all day in the kitchen preparing dinner that is...she arrived in the evening. So, here's wishing Kate a wonderful birthday and year ahead and everyone else a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Kate was born at 5:10 p.m. Emily I still have the note you wrote us, telling your new baby sister and I good night. Preston Hospital had no phone in the rooms. Kate gets the BIG birthday dinner today. We will Skype when she gets here it will be around 11:00. Tell Thomas we can all sing Happy Birthday to Kate when we call. Hug the boys. Love Always Mom
