Short & sweet: we picked up the car this evening. I about gave the kids and I whiplash a couple of times already because I am so used to driving "the Beast". It's going to take some time getting used to a car with some pick-me-up. Thomas and Toby were as giddy as I was picking up the car, I think they've missed it too.

Met my newest great granddaughter and she is just a beautiful as I have been told (prejudice aside). I am calling her Cole because her given name is much too long for such a precious little one.
Need to call Aunt Kay this weekend. Been awfully busy with babysitting my youngest grandson while Jeanine is busy with H&R Block work. Didn't quite remember how much energy a year and half demands of a "sitter" grandmother.
