Why Tailer Spends A Lot of Time in the Basement

My friend made the comment to me the other day that "I swear, I never see your cat, do you keep her locked up in the basement most of the time?" I told her that no, that although we do lock her in one room in the basement at night, first thing in the morning I let her up and she has free rein over the house but that she does spend an awful lot of time downstairs in her bed where it is cooler and more quiet.

And then I caught Toby trying to use his power drill on Tailer. And I thought about it. Hmm...it's safer downstairs for you, isn't it girl?
