Old Four Eyes...2008 Style

(sorry, I know this pic is a little blurry, but it gives you an idea of what the sides look like. They are black with silver rivets)

I picked up my new glasses yesterday. And I had to go back today and get them adjusted. They were squeezing my head, behind my ears until it really hurt! I can tell that I'm going to have to go back again, but they are a lot better. Now if I can just remember to keep them away from anywhere that Toby can get to!

Until later,

Emily

Rebecca,

Oh...I know. I was wondering how long it would take to get the comment! I wore them last night to a GNO and wondered how many of those girls were thinking it...because I totally was/am! I'm never going to wear my hair back while wearing the glasses...that is for sure!

Emily, I have had calls from Ed and family and Bob with that exact comment from the day she was introduced. They said I look like her too. That could be maybe you look a little bit like your Mom. I have been told I have always looked like my Mom. It's not a bad look. Hug the boys and take care. Love Always Mom
Your glasses are cute. Give Toby a little hug for the reason to get new ones. No excuses after Toby got a hold of them.

Hi! I love your new glasses, and haircut, and your new background for your blog. I've read all the updates, and it sounds like you are all doing great! I'm so glad. I wish I could live somewhere else for a while. We need an adventure. Life is good, but it's insainly busy and sometimes I want to run away from all our schedules and responsibilities and just be with the kids. I'm sure once we did get somewhere, the whole activity thing and church thing would find us and we'd be busy again, but for a while it would be a nice change of pace. THis morning I asked Aaron if we could move to Hawaii for a year or two, hang out, take surf lessons, and just slow down our lives. He said to book the tickets, so that's a yes, right? Anyway, so glad you're doing well, I love seeing the pictures of you and the kids.
Love you,
Laurie
