Even at five, Thomas still has a few words that he says in his own special Thomas way. I actually love these words and haven't done much to encourage him to say them the way that he should. I know that he can say the sounds the right way if he needs to.
One word that he says every morning, that puts a smile on my face or at least in my heart, is "bret-test" as in breakfast. As in, "Mom, can we go downstairs and have bret-test?"
Another word, that will really always be remembered as a Thomas word is "chep-ped" as in ketchup. He actually was saying it the correct way a year or so ago and then he went back to chep-ped. Again, I don't mind.
Until later,
Emily

If it was up to your Dad you would still be ordering BB's (root beer) for Thomas and riding So's (horses)and mel (smell)the flowers. Each child will have special words the are only their. But the time comes when they go to school that Mom has to make sure they say it right so no one can tease them and make fun of them. Kids are mean. So someday you will have to start change it. Then you can go back to the old way when they are all grow up like your Dad does for you. Hug the boys, take care. Love Always Mom
What a cutie!
with a face like that ...he can say it anyway he likes!!
